Marketing and Promotions Assistant Lily Walsh is happy to see so many people participating in the activities happening at the Market. “The St. John’s Farmers’ Market celebrates all things local, and these activities and workshops are a great way for us to collaborate with other local businesses and organizations to incorporate more fun, entertainment and education into our weekly Market. We’ll have even more going on later in the season, so stayed tuned for updates!”
This week there will be performances by musicians Perry Muise and Joseph Coffin as well as:
- 11:00AM to 12:00PM: Hula Hooping with FarOut Fitness. By donation.
- 12:00PM to 1:00PM: Salsa Dancing with Salsa in St. John’s. By donation.
- 12:00PM to 1:00PM: performance by Mark the Magician.
- 1:00PM to 2:00PM: Yoga with Nova Yoga. $10/person.
Please note that all outdoor activities are weather dependent.
You’ll also find fresh, in-season produce, loads of curries, kebabs, samosas, waffles and mini-donuts and lots of unique products from our many artisan vendors.
Don’t forget your resuable shopping bags, and please bring cash as there isn’t an ATM onsite. The Victoria Park Lantern Festival will be collecting wide mouth glass jars at the Market, so if you have any you aren’t using, please bring them along. Parking is limited.
