New international food, exciting new products and recreational activities for this Saturday, August 30th!

August 27th, ST. JOHN’S, NL– More than 18.000 customers have visited the Farmers Market during the first half of the season and the number of tourists at the Market is growing every Saturday.

Every week we have new vendors coming to the Market. This season such additions as: Pakow Catering (Thai food), Kitchen Brazil, In Your Face Ice Cream, Daisy & Sacha Sauces, Luna Raw Desserts, among many others, are making every Saturday a great experience for our new and regular customers. Even with the rain last week, many vendors were sold out before noon. The farmers keep bringing high quality fresh products every week and this time twelve local farmers will offer the best of their productions. In addition, new and regular vendors are offering exciting products such as paleo, gluten-free and vegan treats, handmade soup mixes, delicious sauces, jam and preserves, pickled vegetables, fresh wild blueberries, international food from Africa, India, Turkey, Brazil and much more. Also, we have a wide diversity of local artists showing their unique creations.

The Market has two new tents and new craft vendors and non-profit organizations are using these new spots for a better promotion of their products and activities. As with every Saturday, our regular vendors will bring their international food products, craft creations, photography and much more. Meet everyone and make your Saturday an exciting experience by visiting the St. John’s Farmers’ Market at the Lions Chalet on Bonaventure Avenue, between 9:00AM and 2:00PM.
