Hello Vendors and Market Supporters!

Not to panic! The St. John’s Farmers’ Market will open on the first Saturday of June, at the Lion’s Chalet. Please remember we are volunteer board of directors (i.e. we all have paid jobs that feed our kids and pay the rent). We have been working hard over the winter, writing proposals for projects and preparing for the co-operative, all which have to do with the long term sustainability of the market.

We are still in the process of working on policies, along with hiring/orienting the staff and volunteers who will be working with us this season.

Management of the market, vendor bookings and requests will officially begin the middle of May. Please expect a response shortly after this time and thank you for your understanding.

If you are one of our many market shoppers, please know that the energy is high and we are all looking forward to our first market.

Thank you,

Colin Greene

Chair, Friend of the St. John’s Farmers’ Market
